July 28th, Fat Chicks Corner
Acadia Welcomes Ashley Lil and StoreHouse July 28th. Art Show.
FAT CHICKS CORNER
Saturday, July 28th, 2012 Ashley Lil and Allison Philp present FAT CHICKS CORNER, an exhibition of prints, books, installations and more at Acadia Bookstore, 232 Queen St. East.
Allison and Ashley met three years ago at OCADU, since then, the two have become great friends and mutual muses. The two will be showing work made in close proximity to each other, their styles and themes constantly echoing from one to the other, producing a body of work too large for just one person. FAT CHICKS CORNER will be Ashley's last showing in Toronto before her big move to England and Allison's 23rd birthday bash, so come and celebrate the work of these creatively phat ladies once and for all!
Acadia Bookstore has been a long-time love of Allison and Ashley, providing fantastic sources of inspiration, research, collection and vacation. Acadia has been providing artists, bookworms and collectors with only the finest art books, magazines, and antique prints since 1931.
FAT CHICKS CORNER opening reception: 7pm - 10 pm, Saturday, July 28th, 2012. The top floor of Acadia Bookstore, 232 Queen St. East.
